DISSOLUTIONS
2024

Branding and social media campaign for DISSOLUTIONS was a two-day experimental film festival in Dublin. Run by AEMI, the festival centred on analogue and material-based cinema. The visual identity drew from the tactile language of old film reels, using risograph textures, grain, and looping animations to echo themes of decay, rhythm, and transformation. Designed to live seamlessly across print and digital contexts, the branding system extended to posters, motion trailers, and interstitial screen content. A pre-festival social media campaign translated the identity into platform-specific teaser animations and programme highlights, building anticipation while maintaining a cohesive and recognisable visual presence throughout the festival’s rollout.
